On your first visit…

As a new patient, you’ll receive the most thorough examination we can provide. Our staff will compile a complete medical and dental history and discuss with you your expectations about your dental care.

• Dr. Spees will evaluate the relationship between the teeth, joints and muscles to detect or prevent any temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction or discomfort.
• We will evaluate all existing dental work and identify any areas of concern.
• We’ll give you an oral cancer examination. If we detect any anomalies, or if you fall into a high-risk group, we may perform other tests to determine if further action is necessary.

This detailed examination will enable Dr. Spees to form a complete diagnosis.  Then he will provide a clear picture of the treatment options available to you. We’ll also provide you with a time and cost estimate for any treatment needed at your consultation appointment. Cosmetic concerns can be addressed at the same appointment if you desire.
